Hello! I am Heazel Cuajotor Aguinid, a LICENSED PROFESSIONAL TEACHER from the Philippines. I graduated from Western Mindanao State University with a Bachelor's in Secondary Education, majoring in MAPEH, which stands for Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health. I have a 180-hour ADVANCED TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Certificate, a 120-hour TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) Certificate, a 120-hour TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) Certificate, a 120-hour TEYL (Teaching English to Young Learners) Certificate, and a 60-hour ENGLISH 101 Certificate. I got my certificate for my course English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI), which is a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) that Ohio University provides as a part of the Online Professional English Network (OPEN). In terms of teaching experience, I have worked as an online English as a Second Language teacher from 2019 up to now. I am teaching learners of different ages and nationalities, such as Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese, Koreans, Vietnamese, Thai, Indian, and Turkish. I was also part of the Curriculum Developer team in one of my companies before. I help them improve and develop the lesson materials to meet the needs of our students. Although I do not have a lot of prior experience in a classroom, my enthusiasm for English is ardent enough to make me a good teacher for this much-feared subject.
