The Collegiate Academy, a small-scale, private international school in Ilsan, Goyang-si, is looking to hire a native English speaker or Korean teacher who can teach as the main social studies teacher for elementaryhigh school students

-Position: Social Studies Teacher (elementaryhigh school) Starting date: September-December (negotiable) Salary: 2.42.5 Million KRW per month (full-time) Negotiable for part-time teachers Hours: 9AM-5PM (Monday to Friday, full time) Negotiable hours depending on availability and schedule (part time) Age group: Elementaryhigh school Subjects: social studies, geography, history (in English) Small class sizes (5-10 students per class) Location: Ilsan, Goyang-si Housing (for full-time): Apartment provided (20 minutes from school by bus) or 500,000won (monthly housing allowance without deposit) Medical Insurance and Pension (50% provided) Paid vacation: 10 days (plus Korean national holidays) Contract period: 1-year contract Severance pay: One month salary paid after completion of contract Benefits: 50% of National Pension & 50% of Health Insurance Teachers who are interested in this position should only apply if the following criteria are met: A citizen of one of the 7 Native English Speaking Countries (Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, UK, USA) OR Korean citizen with strong English proficiency (CEFR C1 Level TOEFL 95 TOEIC 800) Candidates currently working and living in South Korea preferred Willing to teach a demo class online or on site Univeristycollege major and teacher s character is most crucial in our selection process
