YBM-University of London RTC Objective: Recruiting instructors capable of teaching one or more of the following modules to high school graduate students: Mathematics and Statistics Pure Mathematics International Relations Biology Chemistry Qualifications Education: Bachelor s degree
-Experience: Minimum 2 years experience teaching in one of the modules
-Language: English
-Must be currently in Korea and eligible to work
-Preference Education: Masters or Ph.D
-Experience: Minimum 2 years experience teaching in two (or more) modules
-Graduation: Graduated from a UK or English-speaking university
-Language: English and Korean
-Must be currently in Korea and eligible to work
-Has experience with A-Level, IB, or AP courses
-Employment Details Teaching Location: 13th Floor YBM Building located near exit 11 Gangnam station line 2
-Job Period: This years term will start mid-October 2024 and ends late-April 2025
-Subsequent terms will be 6-10 months per term
-Contract renewable
-Teaching hours: 2 classes with a total of 5 hours per week
-The instructor may choose to divide the classes evenly to 2.5 hours per class or teach 3 hours one day and 2 hours another
-Instructors select when they wish to teach between 10:00-17:00
-Salary: Negotiable depending on teaching experience and qualifications
-Minimum- 60,000 per hour

- Final pass Required Documents Cover Letter Resume University transcript University graduation certificate Programme Introduction The YBM-University of London RTC (Recognised Teaching Centre) is an institution providing the University of London: International Foundation Programme (UoL: IFP) to high school graduates interested in studying at a university in the United Kingdom
-At the end of the programme, students will take an examination from the University of London to determine their eligibility of studying in the United Kingdom
-Responsibilities The responsibilities of the instructor are of the following: Prepare and teach the course material in a comprehensive way
-Supplement the course in a fun and creative way that improves the students understanding of the module
-Be familiar with the University of London s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), the university s online platform with all available materials and assignments
-Assess assignments on the VLE to assist students that are falling behind
-Respond to student s questions and concerns in a timely manner on the VLE chat
-Expectations The instructor s expectations for working can be, but are not limited, to the following: All necessary resources will be available online and students are expected to study and review most of the module s materials on their own
-This includes assignments
-Students who are absent are still expected to study and review the materials on their own and keep up with the discussions when they are next present in class
-The teaching style will be similar to a university level lectureseminar meaning some parts of the lesson will be conveying information but the majority of the lesson will be discussions to solidify and encourage student s desire for knowledge in their modules
-The classes will be scheduled based on the availability of the instructor between 10:00-17:00
-Each module must be taught for 5 hours divided into two classes per week and the instructor may choose to divide the hours taught evenly or teach two hours one day and three hours in another
-If qualified, they may teach two modules and teach 10 hours per week
-The instructor will be in charge of, at maximum, 20 students
