Job Description: Collaborate with the teacher to prepare resources for lessons
- Ensure the classroom environment is conducive to learning and professional standards are maintained
- Report any necessary repairs to the administrator
- Assist children with activities based on qualifications and experience
- Supervise children during outdoor playtime as per the schedule
- Maintain childrens documentation for portfolios as required
- Inform the team of any relevant observations regarding students
- Professionally support fellow staff members
- Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required
- Assist with special events in alignment with qualifications and experience Teachers responsibilities: Expected to: attend meetings each week for curriculum planning, project work or general staff meetings as required document children s work: documentary panels, portfolios, reports help prepare presentations for parent meetings prepare evaluation form and student information sheet be accountable for the academic, social, and emotional well-being of all children in your care, and the school at large attend educational visits, residential and day experiential field trips if required read and act according to the guidelines in ELC s Staff Handbook follow the dress code as outlined in ELC Staff Handbook Required to: Communicate clearly and professionally Be organized and punctual Resolve conflict respectfully Display patience and understanding Demonstrate self-control of emotions
